Fast Legs Skincare Delivers Athlete-Focused Performance and Protection

I’m someone who has a skin care routine. Yes, I’m one of those people who since teenage-hood, has been looking for products that work on my now-ageing skin.

For the past six years, I’ve been using a regimen that’s been costing me a pretty penny every 10 to 12 months; since coming across Fast Legs though, I’m now a convert.

Now, if you already have a skincare routine, then trialling something new for a while shouldn’t affect you when it comes to breakouts, so it was super easy for me to pick up these bottles and give them a go.

Fast Legs is a new range of quality Australian-made skincare products, designed to protect and care for athletes – yes, athletes! It’s all about helping repair skin after the workouts, after the sweat, after the hot or freezing conditions. And the brand’s got almost everything covered – skin irritation, saddle sores, runner’s rash and chafing, and renewed vitality.

My go to every morning is the Fast Legs Face Clean, formulated with natural ingredients like aloe vera and witch hazel. The first time I put it on my skin, it felt thick and ‘gluggy’, but once I smoothly rubbed it in with a tiny touch of water, it provided a great deep clean which, after a couple weeks of consistent use, resulted in almost no breakouts and a healthier glow. And you seriously don’t need a whole lot – the tiniest pump onto my finger gives me complete coverage. Definitely value for money, because it’s going to take me a really long time to get through the entire bottle (which, by the way, is a medical-grade container with a calibrated airless pump to guarantee accurate dosage and to stop contamination).

Now, I am a step 2 and step 3 kind of girl – so serum and moisturiser, preferably with SPF. So despite the Fast Legs Recovery Face Gel not being a moisturiser as such, it’s my favourite out of the product line, and to be honest, it’s my secret weapon. I’ve been using it as a moisturiser most days, but the formula is meant for healing the face after exposure to the sun, wind and dirt. It’s sticky and super oily; you really only need the absolute tiniest pump out of the container (again, medical-grade pump included). It takes about 10-15 minutes to absorb, because of its anti-inflammatory properties (actually, all the products have this feature), but when it does, my face is hydrated and if I’m needing to put on make-up, it actually works amazing as a primer. I’m not kidding – no primer under my foundation.

I’m running out of room here, but I also want to bring attention to the Fast Legs Anti-Bacterial Body Wash. Containing tea tree oil, a natural anti-bacterial powerhouse, along with aloe vera, my sweaty workouts and muddy trail runs are washed away with a fragrance that is a standout feature. And look, I like a good fluffy ‘coconut and lime’ or whatever scent in the shower, but there’s something healing and intrinsic with what the body wash offers.

Fast Legs has nailed the balance between effective performance and self-care with these products – there’s more too though (Daily Moisturiser, Daily Eye Cream and the Anti-Chafing and Chamois Cream), and if you’re an active person who values high-quality, well-created products that smell amazing and actually work at a very affordable price, I can’t recommend Fast Legs enough. It’s worth getting onto their website and checking out everything this startup Australian brand has on offer.
