Gear Review: Fractel Women’s Velocity Tee & Singlet
Why the Fractel Velocity Tee & Singlet belong in your run kit
Some tops are just…tops. And then there’s Fractel tops – the ones that instantly earn front-of-drawer status and somehow end up in the laundry basket after every run.
The Fractel Women’s Velocity Tee and Singlet have become indispensable for me.
Made from Coolcore Breeze recycled mesh (80% recycled polyester, 12% polyester, 8% elastane if you love your fabric stats), both the Tee and Single are light as air, and move with you, not against you.

The Tee and Singlet are virtually the same in every aspect bar the sleeves, with the Tee featuring flatlock stitched raglan sleeves meaning zero chafing and full freedom for power hiking or flying down the descents with arms flailing in joy (that would be a sight to see!).
What wins me over? The material breathes. Like, properly. I’ve worn it on steamy afternoon trail loops and still felt fresh-ish by the end. The sweat-wicking magic is legit. Plus, it has UV protection and reflective details front and back, so I don’t have to think twice about early starts or twilight finishes.

I had the honour to test the Tee in Lime (which also comes in Black and Lilac for the women, while colours for the men include Black, Teal and Olive), which is pure dopamine dressing – bright enough to be seen from the next ridgeline, but still wearable with all my other gear. And let’s be honest, a flattering women’s cut that doesn’t cling in weird places? Chef’s kiss.
And the Singlet I trialled in Black (when in doubt, always go black) so it matched my total vibe. For the ladies, it comes in Black and Velocity Lilac, and for the men it’s available in Black and Velocity Orange.

Fractel has nailed it with their Velocity Tee and Singlet – fun, functional, and fabulous on the trail. If you see me out there, chances are I’m wearing it.
