Get ready to embark on a journey that’s as grueling as it is breathtaking.

The Cape2Cape Ultra is the latest addition to the Ultra Series Australia lineup, and it promises to be an event like no other.

Set in Western Australia’s stunning South West, this race combines epic challenges with awe-inspiring scenery, making it a must-do for ultra-runners around the world.

Spanning the entire length of the iconic Cape to Cape Track, the Cape2Cape Ultra delivers 100mi of unmatched natural beauty and relentless physical challenge. For those seeking a shorter but equally rewarding experience, the 50mi option is a perfect choice. Both distances allow runners to immerse themselves in the region’s wild landscapes, creating an unforgettable journey.

The Cape2Cape Ultra offers the choice of two distances

100 Miler: Covering the entire length of the Cape to Cape Track and a few extra miles at both ends, this distance is the ultimate test of physical and mental endurance.

50 Miler: For those seeking a challenge that’s slightly less daunting, the 50mi option delivers half the distance but all the incredible scenery and camaraderie.

Both options promise a journey through ancient forests, rugged coastline, and spectacular vistas, creating an experience that is as rewarding as it is challenging.

The Cape2Cape Ultra takes runners through one of the most stunning regions in Australia. From towering karri forests to secluded beaches, this track is a masterpiece of natural diversity.

What to expect

Cape Leeuwin: Where the Indian and Southern oceans meet, take in the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia.

Boranup Forest: Run through towering karri trees, surrounded by a natural cathedral that’s nothing short of magical.

Injidup Beach: Take in the serenity of this tranquil stretch of sand, offering a peaceful contrast to the rugged cliffs.

Canal Rocks: Marvel at this stunning natural attraction where granite formations have created dramatic canals carved by powerful ocean waves.

Cape Naturaliste: Dramatic coastal cliffs and sweeping views of the Indian Ocean.

The Cape2Cape Ultra isn’t just another race – it’s an experience designed with runners and the environment in mind. Ultra Series Australia have worked closely with local authorities to ensure the event aligns with the track’s capabilities and minimises its environmental impact.

This approach ensures participants can enjoy the full beauty of the Cape to Cape Track without impacting its delicate ecosystem or the experience of others.
