DirtBags are ultralight, reusable, and home-compostable zip bags designed to replace single-use gel packets, powder sachets, and plastic zip-lock bags, giving runners precise control over their fuelling with a planet-friendlier way to carry their gear.

They come in two sizes. The small bags are designed for gel-sized portions of fuel, while the larger bags suit powders, snacks, or gear organisation inside a vest. They’re waterproof, making them a practical carry system as much as a fuelling station.

The concept is simple: fill them yourself with your nutrition of choice, use them across multiple sessions, wash them, repeat; and when they’ve reached the end of their life, compost them at home rather than send them to the landfill.
